A Day Pupil Week at Terrington

Written by  Administrator

A day pupil in the Main School attends between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday - Friday (except Wednesday when the school day ends at 4.00pm) and Saturday mornings 8.30am to 1.00pm. There are usually sports fixtures on a Saturday afternoon.

However, there is much more to the week than these "bare bones".

Some pupils join the boarders for breakfast (at a nominal charge) and many stay for supper at least once a week in order that they may attend an activity in the evening - something is happening EVERY evening!

In addition, each day pupil in the Main School receives 2 free nights boarding each term as part of the day fee. These boarding vouchers can be taken-up individually or en-bloc but they are so popular that we advise early booking for this “Bed and Breakfast” experience!

It is a long day for day pupils but all Prep is completed during the school day enabling the evenings to be free for resting at home or participating in some of the many activities available at school.
