Thursday 18th March

Years 1 and 2 are spending the day at the Thackray museum, Yrs 3 and 4 have gone to Stockbridge to begin their Garden project and several pupils have ABRSM exams. This evening is the Yr6 Parents' meeting (from 6pm). 


Wednesday 17th March.

There is an U11 Netball tournament at Terrington this afternoon, and the U11 boys are at Westville for a tournament. U13 girls are away at Minster School. Pre-prep parents meetings are from 3.30pm.


Tuesday 16th March

Today, Mr Loy's theatre studies group will be filming their production of Hamlet in the church and churchyard. As a result, there will be NO theatre studies activity this evening.


Monday 15th March

There are ABRSM exams all day today: good luck to the musicians involved. This morning there was a fly-fishing demonstration in Assembly and it is hoped to run a fishing activity in the Summer term. Tonight is the Boarders' Easter party!


Satuday 13th March.

Another busy day! The U13 netball squad is going to Leeds as they have been selected as "ball-girls" for a National League game.The U13 sevens team is at Mowden Hall and the U11 Rugby and Hockey teams are at festivals at St Martin's Ampleforth.


Friday March 12th

Another busy day, with a match for the U9/U8 Netballers (home) this afternoon and a swimming gala for all age groups at Cundall starting at 4pm. This evening is our "Beer Bingo and Bangers" night for parents and pupils which begins at 6.30pm in the dining room. Tickets still available (or pay on the door). 


Thursday 11th March

Both U11 and U13 sevens teams are away today at the Durham 7's: reports and results will follow. There are no Cricket Nets tonight.


Tuesday 9th March

The U8's have a match away at Lyndhurst. The Headmaster of Giggleswick is visiting this afternoon.


Monday 8th March.

Some excellent sport on Saturday: reports and results will follow in the relevant sections.
Today, the u13 Netballers are AWAY at Read School (not Home as in calendar).


Saturday 6th March

A busy day of sport today, with football against Sedbergh (U13 and U9) and Rugby and Netball (U11) v Westville: all games at home. The U12 girls travel to Pocklington for a Netball tournament . There are no matches tomorrow (Sunday) but there is a "Wiz" rehearsal for all the cast starting at 2pm.
