There is a home tennis match this evening (4pm) for U13 boys and girls teams.
Congratulations to Mrs Pilmore for masterminding yet another successful Spring Fair which this year raised £850. The funds will be shared between the school and Terrington's charity of the year the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
As ever, the jar stall and the matrons' sweet stall proved highly popular, and the Junior School laid on the customary magnificent cake stall. Mr Mulryne's homemade Splat-the-Rat proved a big draw, though it only just survived an afternoon of over-enthusiastic splatting.
The highlight of the afternoon, however, was the staff steeple-chase around the triangle. Jockeying for position were (pictured above) Mr Langley, Miss Hubbard, Miss Shelley, Mr Magson and Mr Mulryne, with Mr Glen commentating. An untimely fall at the last hurdle robbed Mr Mulryne of the race allowing Miss Shelley to power through to win.
With thanks to Mrs Pilmore, staff and pupils for a highly entertaining fundraising afternoon, and to the parents and families who participated enthusiastically and gave so generously.
