History at Terrington Hall
The main aim of the department is to encourage a love of History that will stay with pupils long after their education at Terrington has come to an end. The subject is delivered through a range of teaching methods and resources to stimulate interest in it and to develop the pupils' skills of enquiry and evaluation. Educational visits form an integral part of what we do as a department and help bring the past to life. The department enjoys an excellent academic record at Common Entrance and takes a great deal of pride from the knowledge that a large proportion of our leavers do elect to carry on their study of History at their senior schools and beyond.
