Moving on from Terrington

Children leave Terrington, normally at the age of 13, to attend a wide range of Senior Schools throughout the United Kingdom.

A list of the destinations of our leavers over the last five years is appended.

In recent years, at least one quarter of leavers have gained scholarships to the school of their choice.

TERRINGTON HALL PREPARATORY SCHOOL ACADEMIC STANDARDS

In the last five years thirty children have gained Scholarships or Exhibitions to the following schools:-

Sedbergh (3), Fettes (2), St Peters (2), Malvern (1), The Mount (1), Casterton (1), Queen Margaret’s (2), Durham (1), Bootham (1), Repton (3), Ampleforth (4), Prior Park (1).

Another eighty-five have gone on to a very wide range of Senior Independent Schools after passing Common Entrance:-

St Peter’s, York (29), Sedbergh (9),  Pocklington (2), Ampleforth (24), Durham (2), Abbotsholme (2), Fettes, The Mount, Malvern, Queen Margarets, Radley, Windemere St Annes, Fyling Hall, Shrewsbury, Ackworth, The Mount, Barnard Castle, Kingsmead, Royal Hospital School, Duke of York's, Prior Park, Moyle's Court, Denstone College & Blundells.
