Malvern Tour is going ahead: weather much better in South West!
A child's intellectual development is of tremendous importance, but we also provide a wide range of activities including a broad sporting programme.
Rugby, Football and Cricket for boys; Hockey, Netball and Rounders for girls; Cross Country, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Tennis, Athletics, Water Polo and Swimming for both; are all coached and played to a high level, but the key to all sports participation is enjoyment and our aim is to introduce children to a sport or sports that will capture their enthusiasm and continue it into adulthood.
Competitive matches against other schools are arranged in all major and minor sports throughout the area and further a field. It is our hope that all pupils will have represented the school by the time they leave for, as well as helping to develop the full physical potential of each child, sport helps to foster confidence, self-esteem, social skills and teamwork.
The magnificent Sports Hall, Swimming Pool, Astro turf, Tennis Courts and extensive playing fields provide first class modern facilities to help us in our quest to provide “a sport for all”.
