Terrington Hall's junior choir entertains residents of retirement home

Written by  Helen Torlesse

Terrington Hall's junior choir ushered in Spring at a Malton retirement home when they performed a range of secular, sacred and contemporary choral numbers for the residents at Hollis Court.

Beginning with ‘Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah-Zip-A-Dee-A' and ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious', the programme included ‘Be still, for the presence of the Lord', ‘Make me a channel of your peace', ‘Hey Mister Miller', a medley from ‘The Sound of Music' and ‘Can you feel the love tonight' from ‘The Lion King'.

Afterwards the Year 2, 3 and 4 pupils handed round gingerbread men made by Terrington's kitchen staff and wished the residents a happy Easter.
