Terrington Hall's U11 netball and U11 rugby sevens teams have ended their seasons with two convincing tournament wins.
The U11 netball team won Terrington's U11 netball tournament in which eight schools participated (Cundall Manor, Bramcote, Lyndhurst, Queen Mary's, St Martin's Ampleforth, Scarborough College, Terrington Hall and Woodleigh).
In the groups stages, Terrington came through with wins against Bramcote (2-1), St Martin's Ampleforth (9-0) and Woodleigh (8-1) to claim a 4-1 semi-final victory over Queen Mary's and a 5-0 defeat of Cundall Manor in the final.
On the same day, the U11 rugby sevens team won Westville's U11 rugby sevens tournament where they had group-stage wins over Highfield Prep (35-0), Sedbergh (56-0) and Belmont Grosvenor (49-0); a 19-0 semi-final victory over Gyll Royd and a 35-0 win against Ashville College in the final.
Terrington's U11 rugby coach Nick Witteveeen said: ‘With 194 points for and 0 points against, it was a terrific final team performance by the boys.'
