There is a home tennis match this evening (4pm) for U13 boys and girls teams.
Children leave Terrington, normally at the age of 13, to attend a wide range of Senior Schools throughout the United Kingdom.
A list of the destinations of our leavers over the last five years is appended.
In recent years, at least one quarter of leavers have gained scholarships to the school of their choice.
TERRINGTON HALL PREPARATORY SCHOOL ACADEMIC STANDARDS
In the last five years thirty children have gained Scholarships or Exhibitions to the following schools:-
Sedbergh (2), Fettes (2), St Peters (3), Queen Margaret’s (2), Durham (3), Repton (4), Ampleforth (3), Giggleswick (1), Repton, Malvern, Shiplake, Ashville, The Mount and Prior Park
Another seventy-two have gone on to a very wide range of Senior Independent Schools after passing Common Entrance and other entrance exams:-
St Peter’s, York (42), Sedbergh (2), Pocklington (5), Ampleforth (16), Durham (2), Abbotsholme, Fettes, The Mount, Malvern, Duke of York's, Prior Park & Moyle's Court.
