What a fantastic game played by the under 10 girls. Emma lost the toss, but the girls got the ball of Lyndhurst within seconds which resulted in Amelia scoring the first goal of the match in under two minutes. The goals just kept coming with Amelia and Anna's strong partnership in attack leaving Terrington in the lead 5-0 at half time.
The girls were very bubbly at half time and had nothing but positive comments about their team members. Going back on in the second half, the girls had a very positivie mindset and scored a further 3 goals.
This match saw some or most of the girls playing in different positions to what they would normally, causing a bit of uncertainty at first, but led to some starring players. Maddy found that her new position at centre forward gave her great opportunities to take the ball for a run and clear it from defense, often eventuating into a goal.
The girls played excellently as a team, using drags and strategic passes to get around the Lyndhurst girls. A great effort from all the girls and hopefully they can keep up the same standard for next week's match.
The end result was 8-0 win to Terrington.
