U11 Netball v Read Fri 3rd Feb

Written by  Natalie Glen

The U11 played Read on a glorious sunny but cold afternoon. We started well and went from strength to strength through the first quarter accumulating nine goals with some great shooting from Clemmie and Frankie. Having gone well ahead it was time to changed positions around and see how we got on. Erin and Amelia came into shoot and carried on in the same vain. All round the court the Terrington girls were faster and more aware of their team mates and so where to pass the ball.

In the second half we made further changes and although we still had plenty of possession we didn't score quite so many goals. It is always important to play new positions and see the game from a new perspective. Although we were stronger the Read girls never gave up trying and had more shooting oppotunities as the game went on.

Final Score Terrington 21 - 1 Read
