The senior girls had an enjoyable afternoon at the Minster and recorded a comfortable win. The court is slightly small which means creating space can be quite difficult but in the first quarter we started well with Annabelle and Angela popping in goals on a regular basis. Emma and Eliza made plenty of interceptions which left Minster with few opportunities to get on the score sheet.
There were encouraging performances from Ellie and Lily who passed and moved the ball well through the mid-court area. Ellen went to shooter for the second half and scored a number of goals while in the final quarter Alice pitched up at centre and won a lot of high balls with some good handling.
Though one sided it was a match played in good spirits and a great chance for some of our girls to play in different positions which can only be good for their own development as netballers.
