Thank you for your interest in Terrington Hall. Choosing the right school for your child is an extremely important decision and we understand that every family has different needs and questions, that is why our admissions process is bespoke to you.
Initial Enquiry & Visit
The best way to start the process is by visiting the school, so that you can explore first-hand all the opportunities Terrington Hall has to offer. To make your initial enquiry please email our Head of Marketing & Admissions, Annabelle St John, firstname.lastname@example.org, who will be happy to send you a school prospectus and arrange a suitable date to visit.
Following a tour of the school we highly recommend booking in a taster morning/afternoon for your child. Taster sessions are a fantastic way to experience life at Terrington, including our lessons, enrichment, extra-curricular activities and ensure a smooth transition into the school. Although no formal tests are undertaken during the taster session, it is a valuable opportunity for informal assessments to be carried out by our teaching staff.
Should you wish to proceed, the next stage in the process is to complete the registration form. Once this is returned with the non-refundable registration fee of ÂŁ75, your child will be placed on the class list, or on a waiting list if the class list is full. Two terms before your child is due to start, we will write to you to ask whether you wish to accept your childâ€™s place on the class list and a deposit of ÂŁ300 will be requested. Once the deposit has been received, your childâ€™s place is confirmed. The deposit is refundable after the end of a childâ€™s final term in the school, and is offset against their final extras bill. The deposit will not be returned if parents subsequently choose not to enter their son or daughter to Terrington Hall. Once acceptance of a place has been confirmed, a termâ€™s notice is required for withdrawal.
