Old Terringtonian Jennifer Foster has been selected for the U14 2019-2020 England rounders squad.
Jennifer, who left Terrington at the end of the Summer 2019 on an art scholarship to Queen Margaret’s, follows in the footsteps of Old Terringtonians Judith Rivis (nee Kilburn) and Charlotte Collard who both won selection to England rounders squads. Judith now teaches girls’ games at Queen Margaret’s School, and Charlotte at Queen Mary’s Hall, Stonyhurst.
Terrington’s Head of Girls’ Games Kelly Roberts said: ‘Last summer, Jennifer played a pivotal role in Terrington Hall’s unbeaten U13 rounders season hitting 36 of a total of 80½ rounders scored. A phenomenal fielder with a bullet arm and the ability to make one-handed catches on the run, she thoroughly deserves her place in the England rounders squad.’
