Students in Upper prep have been learning the myth of Perseus and Medusa in Latin lessons. Having studied the gory details of the myth, they were inspired to produce their own work to summarise the story. Pupils produced some excellent PowerPoints, poems and comic strips. They discussed the tragic irony of the fact that Perseus ends up killing his grandfather by accident with a discus, having decapitated the gorgon Medusa and petrified his potential father-in-law Polydectes. Wonderful work produced by all.
