Two Year 8 pupils have represented Terrington Hall School at show jumping events organised by the National Equestrian Schools’ Association (NSEA).

In April, Lara Evans represented Terrington Hall in the NSEA Arena Eventing at Northallerton in the 80/85cm class.

Riding her horse Drummer, she came second out of 50 competitors and qualified for the NSEA Inter-Schools KBIS Arena Eventing Championships at Keysoe Equestrian Centre in Bedfordshire. Lara attended the championships in October and, although she wasn’t placed, was thrilled to represent the school.

This month, Thomas Easterby entered the NSEA show jumping competition on his horse Snowy at Bishop Burton where he rode a couple of good rounds at 80 and 90cm finishing 7th and 8th in a tightly competitive field. It was a great first outing for Thomas.

Terrington Hall is delighted to have a presence at these events. Any pupil who would be interested in representing the school should contact Terrington Hall’s team manager, Year 8 parent Clare Evans, via the school office office@terringtonhall.com

The National Schools' Equestrian Association (NSEA) has been established since 1991. Its aim is to promote and encourage the participation in and recognition of equestrian sport within schools in Great Britain. See www.nsea.org.uk for information on future competitions.
