Christmas Fair is a triumph of community spirit!
The Christmas Fair organised by parents’ group The Friends of Terrington Hall attracted hundreds of visitors from both the school and local communities.
More than 30 independent traders from the area took stalls offering a huge variety of gift ideas, food and drink, clothing, pottery and a popular tombola.
They were entertained by the Terrington Hall choirs and musicians, whose festive carols were the perfect accompaniment to the occasion. Proud families looked on as their children took centre stage.
Older pupils also manned stalls themselves, embracing the responsibility and working together beautifully to sell second hand books and toys and the ever-popular sweetie jars.
The café, run by the Friends, did a roaring trade as shoppers took a break to enjoy the carols and soak up the joyous Pre-Christmas atmosphere.
Many thanks to the Friends of Terrington Hall for staging this annual and extremely popular event. It raised money for this year’s school charity, Nayamba School in Zambia, as well as for School funds.
Headmaster Huw Thomas said: “The Christmas Fair was a triumph of community spirit! I am incredibly grateful to those parents who gave so generously of their time to organise and support the event.”
It’s a friendly, positive school with an excellent atmosphere for learning and friendship.
