Community bonfire night is a blast!
Families and the local community joined together for a fantastic Bonfire Night celebration organised by parents’ group the Friends of Terrington Hall.
Children and their families gathered in the square after school for a warming and lively catch-up over hot dogs and soup.
The Friends provided stalls selling tasty home-made snacks, as well as sweets and sparkly wands. A busy parents’ stall sold mulled wine and a variety of hot and cold drinks.
Everyone then made their way to the school fields for a spectacular firework display kindly orchestrated by parents and Friends Mike Morley, assisted by Graham Cookson.
The full moon and bright skies didn’t detract from the stunning show, against the stunning backdrop of the rolling Howardian Hills.
Many thanks to the Friends of Terrington Hall for staging such a wonderful evening for our community.
A wonderful family feel school.
