Families join our charity fun run

Parents joined children from across the school for a fun run across the beautiful Howardian Hills in aid of our charity of the year, Nayamba School.

With the emphasis on fun, everyone was encouraged to take the course at their own pace. Some flew round, with a group of boys beating even their super-fit pacemaker, Mr Neill.

Others took the course at a gentler pace, enjoying the company and countryside as they passed over field, stile, hill and vale.

Pre-School and Pre-Prep children also joined in, fresh from their end-of-term Hallowe’en Spooktastic Disco. They took shorter routes but enjoyed both the fresh air and camaraderie of the event, alongside the older children from Year 3 and above.

The fun run, held on the last day of the half term, was held to raise money for Nayamba School, in Zambia. Nayamba School is a community school for children from pre-school to aged 18, who previously could not attend school due to distance and expense. For more information, click here.
