The sun shone down as everyone made their way around what is arguably the prettiest 4km loop in northern England, in the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,

We skirted the cricket pitch before launching off across the fields and countryside beyond, then back through Terrington Village to welcome refreshments served in our School square.

The first finishers – in less than 25 minutes – were Nicholas from Year 5 and Year 7 teacher Mr Neill. Well done to you both, and to everyone else who took part.

This year the event had added focus, falling on the birthday of our much-missed art teacher Phil Magson, who died in February. We chose to raise money for Leeds Hospitals in Mr Magson’s honour. The total has already topped £1,000. You can add to it here.
