Sports Day celebration of camaraderie and skill

Sports Day 2022 was a wonderful celebration of children’s sportsmanship, skill and camaraderie as Years 3 to 8 tested themselves in field and track events.

Family and friends cheered on as children competed on behalf of their houses in shot putt, long jump, long distance throwing, relays and running over distances between 100m and 1500m.

Sapphire won Sports day with the biggest tally of points, followed by Jade and then Ruby. The Victor Ludorum winners for the best all-round Sports Day performance were:

U13: Thea Camacho and Ted Hall

U11: Isabella Milne and Will Rivis

U9: Olivia Mosey and Digby Crockett.

Many thanks to Mrs Roberts and Mr Cockett, Head of Girls’ and Boys’ Sport respectively, for organising such a great day, and to pupils’ families for their support.

It was wonderful to see the children all supporting each other
