The respected independent publication gives unbiased reviews of state and private schools across the UK, to help parents make informed decisions about their children’s education.

Its verdict on Terrington Hall came after it delved deep into the school’s ethos and day-to-day running, as well as speaking to children, parents and staff.

"A gorgeous, protected little bubble."

The review described Terrington as: “Warm and friendly with a sensible and balanced approach to academic education, comprehensive co-curricular offer and great flexi-boarding, all in a beautiful setting.”

It added: “We couldn’t put it better than the parent who told us, Terrington Hall is ‘a gorgeous, protected little bubble that allows children to be children and flourish’.”

A warm family feel

We are particularly pleased that The Good Schools Guide highlights our “warmth, a family feel and care for the individual which sets it apart.” It also notes the popularity of our flexi-boarding, our fine music and drama offer, great sports facilities and the wide range co-curricular activities available.

Headmaster Huw Thomas said: “The review is a great reflection of all that we believe to be true about our special community. It certainly highlights the areas and aspects of school life that we believe in. We are thrilled to be recognised in this way by this prestigious and unbiased publication.”
