Our rich and diverse variety of clubs builds on the curriculum to ensure that each child not only receives an excellent all-round education, but also has the opportunity to discover and pursue other areas of inspiration.

Evening Activities

Our programme of evening activities is run with great enthusiasm by staff and provides children in Year 3 to Year 8 with the opportunity to take part in a wide range of exciting extra-curricular activities. Activities change during the course of the year and may include any the following:

  • Cricket Nets
  • Debating
  • 5-a-side football
  • Girls’ Rugby
  • Gymnastics
  • Hockey
  • Netball
  • Pamper nights
  • Parkour
  • Rounders’ league
  • Science Club
  • Swimming
  • Talent shows
  • Tennis
  • Touch Rugby
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Wide Games

There are also ‘special’ boarding nights/evening activities, which may include the following:

  • Beach picnic
  • Camp out
  • Chocolate workshops
  • Hallowe'en Party
  • Treasure hunt
  • Water fight
  • Valentine’s Disco

We send out details of the following term's programme to parents towards the end of each term. Children opting to stay at school for an activity have supper after prep at 5.30pm at a cost of £1.20. Parents may collect their children after evening activities at 7.30pm. Alternatively, flexible boarding is available for children from Year 3 to Year 8 at a cost of £15 per night (which includes supper).

Clubs and Extra activities

There are also a number of after-school clubs for Pre-Prep children at a cost of £3.40 per session. Delivered by our staff, these activities are subject to change during the course of the year but may include any of the following:

  • Arts and Crafts
  • Conversational French
  • Cricket
  • Football/Rugby
  • Multi Sports
  • Yoga and Mindfulness
  • Sewing
  • STEM

At the end of every term, we also provide parents with a booking form for Extra Activities such as instrumental or singing tuition, speech and drama lessons, swimming and sports’ tuition (e.g. tennis and karate delivered by external coaches). These activities incur a cost.
