Terrington Hall runs an exciting programme of end-of-the day enrichment activities for Years 3-8. Designed to broaden our pupils’ horizons and interests, they provide a welcome change of focus after a day in the classroom and before prep.
Taking place every afternoon between 3.15pm and 4.30pm except Wednesday, which is reserved for sport and matches, the programme has enabled staff to introduce the pupils to a range of artistic, scientific, sporting and broad interest pursuits outside of the daily curriculum. Rehearsals for productions and concerts also take place during this time.
In the Lower Prep (Years 3-5), mixed-age groups are trying their hand at yoga, Arabic, cookery, textiles, outdoor adventure and STEM activities.
Enrichment activities for Upper Prep pupils (Years 6-8) include science club, debating, girls’ rugby and gymnastics, boys’ hockey skills and artistic mindfulness sessions.
